Blue Mussels!
Diet-  the diet of the blue mussel includes plankton, and other small, floating organisms. (filterfeeder) the mussel sucks plankton through its intake tube.
Anatomy- The blue musse has an oval shape. with lines on its dark blue shell.  Blue mussel shells can be up to 7.5 centimeters in length, and are covered by a shiny coat. The inside of the shell is dark blue to violet with a white, pearly, layer.
Interesting Fact-  Short seasons and cold temperatures result in slow growth rates and heavy shells.
