Blue-green algae!!
 
 
Diet- Blue-green algae turn sunlight into food energy. Like plants, they also remove carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen.  This is called photosythisis.
 
Anatomy- The first algae were blue-green in color, which is how the algae got their name.  Since then, they have ranged in color from olive-green to red.  They are also very thin and small. 
 
Interesting Fact- Blue-green algae is also called Cyanobacteria, and pond scum.
